Many years ago, ......a young girl had a dream to help as many individuals as she could with the gifts God had given her. She had a heart to change the world by giving people peace and hope to live successfully in a world that is filled with chaos. She knew the key to living well was healthy mental health......
Since then...... Lisa Tackett has helped numerous individuals in a wide range of capacities from working in nursing homes, mental health facilities, child welfare agencies, hospice agencies, hospitals, schools and more... She has worked with children, adolescence, teenagers, families, couples, and the elderly.
Lisa has educated, guided and supported many individuals in their mental health to help them reach a peace of mind in which they are now able to control their emotions with professional help and guidance by decreasing their anxiety, focusing better while being diagnosed with ADHD, believing in themselves, having higher self-esteems, communicating better with their spouses and not wanting to end their lives when they get severely depressed......Lisa teaches you how to regulate your emotions so you only feel like you’re just having a bad day, instead of a bad life. Lisa also teaches you to help stop impulse thinking and when you feel like you are so panicked, you are able to use the coping skills taught, to help you calm down without help from others.

Healing Hearts Counseling Center is dedicated to serve God by responding to the mental health needs of children, teens, adults, marriages and families to make positive lasting changes in their lives.
Lisa Tackett is a devout Christian who puts God first and Loves people. She was born to help others and she is overly excited to help you love yourself once again. She was born in Missouri, and then raised in Chicago during her adolescent, teen and some college years. Lisa studied Psychology and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Lewis University. She then furthered her education, and studied Professional Counseling at Lindenwood University where she received her Master’s Degree.
Although, Lisa has been working for many years in the mental health field with various agencies, she decided that she wanted to counsel families as a LPC in her own private practice office in 2014. In 2014, Lisa decided that she wanted to become licensed as a Professional Counselor and started the professional counseling process. She counsels individuals in Wentzville off of the Lake St. Louis/Hwy 70 exit. She knows it can feel a bit uncomfortable going to a counselor for the first time, but she makes you feel comfortable right away and is very easy to speak with
In 2016, Healing Hearts Counseling Center was established and the private practice was accredited in the state of Missouri. She has worked with many populations, all races, all genders and worked closely with many non-for profit agencies along with several child welfare organizations. She has extensive knowledge with abused and neglected children, child welfare agencies and the rules and regulations of foster care, kinship care, relative care, adoption and guardianship. She has also worked in many schools and counsel’s children who have loss of parents, parents of divorce, anxiety, fears, ADHD, ADD, focus challenges in school, low self-esteem and more.
